Association of Young Professionals (AYP) was founded in 2004 by a few area young professionals determined to interact and network with other young professionals in the community. AYP currently has 50 members, ranging in age from early 20s to late 30s. Our members represent a vast array of the area's workforce, including banking, finance, marketing, real estate, law, media, non-profits, and government.

AYP's mission is to attract and unite a group of young, active, civic-minded professionals who have a clear vision of Harrisonburg's future as a great place to live, work, and play. A Board of Directors, composed of volunteers, leads our organization. Our membership loves to get together, socialize, and become involved in the community, having a good time and working however we can to improve the City of Harrisonburg.
